  • Financial Controller – Wicklow

    We are currently looking to recruit within our Finance Function based in our Wicklow office a Financial Controller (starting July 3rd) reporting to the Finance Director on a minimum 6 month contract for maternity cover, with salary dependant on experience.

    Purpose of the role:
    The applicant will have experience/knowledge of the following;
    • Manage the monthly reporting for Group companies ensuring all deadlines are met.
    • Preparation of trading updates and Director executive summaries
    • Preparation of financial forecasts for the group
    • Management of relationships of External auditors and Revenue/HMRC
    • Ensuring compliance across all UK/Irish tax areas
    • Management of the treasury function, including cash forecasting, FX hedging
    • Oversee Accounts Payable area for Irish, UK Swedish and US companies ensuring timely processing of supplier invoices is carried out.
    • Managing and supporting teams to ensure that staff receive continual training and development
    • Continual improvement of existing controls and ensuring controls are monitored and implemented.
    • Ensuring Group reporting are in line with local and International GAAP reporting
    • Ad-hoc Finance projects

    Requirements for this role include:

    • Qualified accountant with 3+ years relevant PQE in a similar senior role
    • Excellent technical accounting skills
    • Good working knowledge of Irish/UK tax legislation
    • Can work to own initiative
    • Experience in meeting deadlines
    • Demonstrate good decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication skills

  • Industrial Door Engineers

    Dortek have an exciting opportunity for Industrial Door Engineers to join our team to provide installation, service and maintenance on our range of industrial doors. These are full time permanent contracts based across the UK, with highly competitive salaries. You must be apprentice trained or equivalent and fully conversant with a varied range of products within this industry.

    Requirements for this role include:

    - Experience within the industrial door industry
    - Strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact
    - You will need to be safety conscious
    - Duties may involve heights
