  • Production Supervisor - Wicklow Ireland

    Dortek have an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor in Wicklow, Ireland.

    The Production Supervisor will take a lead role in supporting production, scheduling, capacity planning, driving focus in meeting monthly targets, ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams with additional responsibilities to include, mentoring & supporting team leaders, employee performance & necessary HR issues.

    Requirements for this role include:

    • Ability to work flexible working hours
    • A supervisory or management qualification would be a distinct advantage
    • Minimum 6 years’ prior experience in a similar role
    • Familiarity or experience with an ERP system (e.g. SAP) is an advantage
    • Working level of written and oral English (IELTS level 7 or higher if English not first language)
    • Must be able to interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, etc.
    • Ability to calculate mathematical values
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation, with excellent interpersonal skills.

    The suitable applicant will have experience / knowledge of the following;

    • Staff management, training, HR, strategic planning
    • Addressing disciplinary matters within the area of responsibility, and supporting other group leads / HR as required

    • Providing weekly reports and data on all aspects of production
    • Driving H&S initiatives as required, and on a continuous basis, and ensuring housekeeping meets requirements in line with 5S principles.

    Dortek have an exciting opportunity for Industrial Door Engineers to join our team to provide installation, service and maintenance on our range of industrial doors. These are full time permanent contracts based across the UK, with highly competitive salaries. You must be apprentice trained or equivalent and fully conversant with a varied range of products within this industry.

    Requirements for this role include:

    - Experience within the industrial door industry
    - Strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact
    - You will need to be safety conscious
    - Duties may involve heights
