Traditionally at this research site they used timber doors. Each year the doors had to be refurbished with a coat of paint & new door protection, together with splicing in new timbers in wash down areas.
They were looking for a long term cost saving and maintenance free solution.
Solution
Although the equivalent GRP doors are more expensive initially. A huge saving could be made in both cost & time over a longer period of time.
The various features & benefits of Dortek GRP doors include:
Moulded seamless construction, they are smooth and easy to clean.
Will not warp or rot like timber.
Impervious to water, they will not swell or rust.
Built in colour which require no refurbishment.
