GSK is the second largest pharmaceutical group worldwide and employs around 100,000 people in over 116 countries.
The €500 million investment in Saint-Amand-Les-Eaux is the biggest investment in the French pharmaceutical industry in over ten years.
The new plant will produce the groups future vaccination products and in particular the cervical cancer vaccine Cervarix.
Solution
Dortek have supplied the site standard fire door to the GSK Biological headquarters in Belgium for over 15 years. In this time we have developed the product to suit GSK Biologicals particular requirements.
On the Saint-Amand project, at the request of GSK Biologicals Project Engineer, we re-designed our door frame to suit the wall construction of this particular project.
GSK recognise that the door package is very important to the performance of the cleanroom and over the years have developed a solution with Dortek that has been taken around the globe.
