Barts and The London NHS Trust is one of Britain’s top teaching hospital trusts. This site is a new purpose built Pharmacy and Pathology Building to serve all 3 hospitals in the trusts area.
The £52m ‘gold standard’ facility aimed to streamline and consolidate all services under one roof, ensuring the latest process and technology were utilized to the maximum benefit of patients.
Solution
Our hygienic GRP doors were specified and supplied by a specialist clean room contractor.
With no joints or ledges where dirt or germs can gather our GRP doors are ideal where optimum levels of hygiene are and ease of cleaning and disinfection are of high importance.
The redevelopment programme meant that the former Pharmacy was to vacate it’s premises and re locate to a purpose built state of the art Pharmaceuticals Production Suite with a significantly increased capacity.
Doors were manufactured with extra large vision panels to ensure a light and spacious feel to the suite and incorporated electric automations actuated by hygienic touch less sensors and interlocking mechanisms with status indicators.
