Dick White Referrals is a centre of veterinary excellence based in Six Mile Bottom, near Cambridge. It is a referral only centre, which means that all patients are referred by first opinion veterinary surgeons.

The centre provides a comprehensive service across a wide range of disciplines including Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Oncology, Dermatology, Anaesthesia, Ophthalmology and Clinical Pathology.

In addition to clinical services, they also run a very active training programme for vets, undergraduate students, physiotherapists, nurses and pet owners/breeders. Their charity, the Dick White Charitable Foundation is supporting a veterinary project in Cuba, which cares for street dogs and cats in Havana.

The centre’s operating facilities have just been expanded, with two new theatres bringing the total to five. Dortek were happy to supply and install specialist hygienic door systems for the new theatres.
