Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) Doors
Dortek hygienic GRP doors can be used across a wide variety of areas but are ideally suited to areas requiring maximum hygiene, cleanability and durability. This makes them particularly suited to pharmaceutical, food, health, retail and leisure environments.
Dortek’s GRP doors are manufactured from glass reinforced polyester and contain no organic material. With a smooth and seamless construction, Dortek doors have no ledges, recesses or right angles where dust or bacteria can be trapped and grow.
Our doors are completely water and chemical resistant which makes them ideal for areas with regular and rigorous cleaning regimes. Unlike timber or steel doors, Dortek Hygienic GRP doors are non-shedding and will not warp, swell, rot or rust, even in the most arduous conditions.
Dortek’s doors are extremely strong and durable, yet light and easy to operate. The built-in colour of our doors is aesthetically pleasing and requires no maintenance.
Dortek hygienic doors play an essential role in preventing cross-contamination as well as maintaining correct room pressures, air circulation rates and ensuring optimum operating efficiency.
Dortek’s range of GRP doors includes; hinged GRP doors, double action GRP doors, sliding GRP doors, fire rated GRP doors, bi-parting GRP doors and hermetic GRP doors. Our doors are available with up to four hours fire rating and in a range of standard or bespoke designs, colours and sizes.
We have installed Dortek’s GRP doors for the past 12 years in 3 of our locations. The doors are ideal in hygienic areas as they are without seams or crevices into which dirt and bacteria can gather as well as being very strong and hard wearing. Director, Global Manufacturing Company
